This morning, journey north to Grožnjan, a hilltop village known for its artistic spirit. Enjoy time to explore independently, soaking in the views over the Mirna Valley.

From here, head into the forests near Motovun, famous for producing some of the world’s finest truffles. Join a local truffle-hunting family and their trained dogs for an engaging walk through oak woods, learning how these prized delicacies are found.

Back in Opatija, enjoy free time before the journey’s culinary finale. In the late afternoon, travel inland to the slopes of Mount Učka for a hands-on Istrian cooking class led by a renowned local chef. Using seasonal ingredients from nearby farms, you’ll prepare traditional dishes while learning about regional food culture.
